Nick Dutro
Seneca County Board Representative
City Administrator, City of Tiffin
Describe your prior experience working in the nonprofit, government, and/or public service fields.
My career and professional training started in journalism, and I prided myself on my role in keeping the public informed of the happenings in our community, the harsh truths and the good news. After 10 years with the local paper, I decided it was time for a change and entered the non-profit world and worked three years in economic development, helping to bring businesses to the area and supporting our existing businesses grow and create job opportunities. I then had the opportunity to join the City of Tiffin, first by going back to my roots in the capacity of Communications Director, and now as City Administrator. It has been a blessing getting to come in every day and try to provide the best services possible for our community.
What drew you to NOPEC's Board of Directors?
I am always interested in providing good, quality services for the public, and NOPEC aligns with that desire.
Describe your role at NOPEC and how you hope to help NOPEC communities in the future.
I look forward to being involved in the marketing committee and helping to spread the word about the work that is being done at NOPEC.
