(Sebring Village, OH) – The Village of Sebring has joined the Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council (NOPEC) Natural Gas Aggregation Program. Residents and small business owners will be able to take advantage of natural gas supply rates negotiated exclusively for NOPEC customers beginning with their September 2020 meter read date. Eligible customers will be receiving an enrollment letter that explains NOPEC’s program options and rates, along with providing customers the option to opt-out of the aggregation program.
NOPEC is required by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) to send these enrollment letters to all eligible residential and small business natural gas customers in NOPEC member communities.
To enroll, you do not need to take any action. Your account will automatically be enrolled in NOPEC’s Standard Program Price Option. There will be no disruption of service during this switch. The local
natural gas utility will still be responsible for delivering natural gas to homes and businesses, reading meters, and sending bills.
NOPEC also offers a Monthly Variable Rate program that is always a discounted rate below the Utility’s Standard Choice Offer (SCO). Enrollment in this program is limited and subject to availability. Additional program choices include 12- and 24-month fixed term options. For more information on program choices, visit www.nopec.org/gas or call NOPEC’s Customer Care Center at 855.667.3201 (855-NOPEC01).
If you would like to opt-out of NOPEC’s natural gas program and choose your own supplier, fill out and return the opt-out form included with your enrollment letter by August 12, 2020.
If you have additional questions about the enrollment process or NOPEC’s natural gas program, please contact NOPEC’s Customer Care Center at 855.667.3201 (855-NOPEC01). NOPEC’s customer service team is available 24/7 to answer your questions.
