CITY OF REYNOLDSBURG RESIDENTS TO RECEIVE NOPEC NATURAL GAS AND ELECTRIC ENROLLMENT LETTERS

By NOPEC on June 14, 2023

The City of Reynoldsburg has joined NOPEC’s natural gas and electric aggregation programs. This means eligible residents and small businesses will be able to take advantage of energy rates negotiated exclusively for NOPEC customers beginning with their August 2023 meter read dates. NOPEC is a governmental energy aggregation chosen by 240 Ohio communities to supply natural gas and/or electricity to residents and small businesses in their community.

Eligible customers in the City of Reynoldsburg will be receiving enrollment letters in mid-June that explain NOPEC’s programs and rates, along with providing customers with the option to opt out of the aggregation program. NOPEC is required by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) to send these enrollment letters to all eligible residential and small business natural gas and electric customers in NOPEC member communities.

If eligible, you do not need to take any action to enroll. Your account will automatically be enrolled into NOPEC’s Standard Program Price Options beginning with the August 2023 meter read date. There will be no disruption of service during this switch. NOPEC only provides the natural gas or electric supply that you use. All other functions including delivery, repair, billing, and customer service, will continue to be provided by your local utility. Customers will continue to receive only one bill.

NOPEC also provides customers with the flexibility to choose the rate plan that best fits your needs. You can do nothing and stay on the Standard Program Option or choose from one of our other rate plans including Monthly Variable Rate programs, 12- or 24-month Fixed Term programs, and even electric programs backed by Renewable Energy Credits for 100% of the energy used. Enrollment in the Monthly Variable Rate programs is limited and subject to availability.  To enroll in one of these other program options, call NOPEC’s 24/7 Customer Care Center at 855-667-3201.

If you would like to opt out of NOPEC’s natural gas or electric program and choose your own supplier, fill out and return the opt-out form included with your enrollment letter by mail or by fax to 440-774-4422 by the date indicated in the letter.

If you have additional questions about the enrollment process or NOPEC’s aggregation programs, please visit NOPEC.org/Reynoldsburg or contact NOPEC’s Customer Care Center at 855-667-3201 (855-NOPEC01).  NOPEC’s customer service team is available 24 hours, 7 days a week to answer your questions.
