Education & Career Background: Courtney earned a Bachelor's degree from Hiram College in Environmental Studies and her M.Ed. at John Carroll University. Over the past 5 years, Courtney has worked at local cultural institutions creating public engagement opportunities as a science educator.
Role at NOPEC: As the Community Outreach Manager at NOPEC, Courtney is responsible for raising awareness of NOPEC's mission, programs, and member benefits to our communities through direct residential customer and public official interactions. With support from the Community Outreach Liaison, Courtney oversees NOPEC's "Do Not Knock" Program, the Community Event Sponsorship Program, NOPEC's Recognition Program, and general community outreach events throughout the year.
Interesting Fact: Courtney loves animals and owns 3 rescue dogs: Seymour, Leroy, and Sullivan. In her free time, she enjoys taking them on adventures throughout Northeast Ohio.
