NOPEC Enrollment Letter

Here's what it is and what you should do about it.

Who will receive an enrollment letter?

Eligible residents in NOPEC member communities will be receiving natural gas and/or electric enrollment letters beginning in early April 2023. This means your community, along with 239 other Ohio communities, chose NOPEC as the natural gas and/or electric aggregation supplier for your voter-approved aggregation program. The letter provides details about the aggregation program and rate options available.

What should you do with this letter?

You have two options: do nothing and let NOPEC negotiate lower electric rates and gas rates exclusively for NOPEC customers, or, opt-out. If you decide to opt-out of your community's aggregation and choose your own energy supplier, you must return the opt-out form enclosed with this enrollment letter.

However, NOPEC's 20+ year history, bulk buying strategiesmember benefits, residential energy-saving programs, and small business initiatives are just some of the reasons NOPEC's energy aggregation program is different from other for-profit companies.
